Its showpiece is its fully-loaded virtual classroom. It provides an online space to deliver live webinar-based courses and self-study video & text-based courses.
How much does it cost to take a course on U3A Academy, Nigeria?
At the moment, we have 3 subscription levels. Basic for USD 5.99 $, Advanced for USD 7.99 $ & Professional for USD 12.99 $.
What can I expect from each level, in regarding to learning experience?
Each tile of subscription shows the amount of learning hours included like 750+ Hrs. for Basic, 1200+ Hrs. for Advanced and 1600+ Hrs. for Professional.
Does U3A Academy, Nigeria provide certificates for its courses?
U3A Academy, Nigeria being a non-conventional university cannot provide any certifications for the courses offered but there will be a badge of completion against each course you take shown in your profile.
What type of courses are offered in each subscription level?
Basic and Advanced levels only offer self-paced learning courses either in text or video format. Professional level offer either in text or video format as well as virtual courses that will be conducted by experienced and skilled instructors via a webinar in multi-lingual format.
What if I miss a class in webinar?
You can log into your account and watch the recorded webinar within 2 business days.
Can I have one-on-one interaction with my teacher?
Many instructors offer one-on-one academic tutoring sessions. If you are learning in a small group, you can still send private chat messages to your teacher while the webinar is running.
How accessible is the platform and the courses to students with a disability?
We are in compliance with AODA and other guidelines.
Can I still access a course after I have completed it?
Yes, all of the courses remain accessible on your “My Courses” page.
